Age spot removal

Age spots ..... also known as liver spots, senile lentigo, solar lentigines, or sun spots. They are ALWAYS flat not raised. Brown, gray, or black in colour marks on the skin. They usually occur on sun-exposed areas of the skin.

Age spots are the result of an excess production of melanin, or skin pigment. It is thought that age spots develop as a result of skin aging, sun exposure, or other forms of ultraviolet (UV) light exposure, such as tanning beds, are all possible but its has not been proven yet.

The most common place to have age spots are the face, hands, lower back, and forearms. Generally the places most visable to the sun.
